Pony.ai and Toyota Launch Mass-Produced Robotaxis: In a major step for commercial autonomous vehicles, Pony.ai and Toyota have started mass production of the bZ4X robotaxi. They plan to produce over 1,000 units in 2026, aiming for a total fleet of more than 3,000 vehicles by year's end. The new system features a 70% cost reduction in its autonomous driving kit.
